While
Cost of Quality concepts have been used for many years the application
of these techniques has changed significantly. Since the year 2000, with
the revision of ISO 9001 based quality management systems, the quality
focus has been on managing, controlling and improving of processes.
Quality cost techniques can play an important role in this new emphasis.
This presentation will highlight the evolution of quality and
demonstrate the new role of Quality Cost techniques. Dennis
has been teaching and working with Quality Costs since 1988. He will
share some of his experiences as an instructor, researcher, quality
consultant and former Chair of the ASQ Quality Cost Committee. |
