Note : The Plainsman Restaurant on Hwy 5, 2 miles West of Highway 6 in Dundas, Ontario has been arranged as the permanent dinner and meeting location of Hamilton Section for the 2002 / 2003 session. There will be no charge to members for the dinner on this Member Appreciation Night.

The May membership meeting is our fifth annual planning meeting. This meeting will be an open session facilitated by the Chair - Adam Kossowski.

We would like the participating members to bring their ideas and suggestions for the section and for next year's program of events so that we can serve you better.

The April Dofasco Tour was managed under our new reservation system and proved to be a great success. All those who were committed, including those on the waiting list, were able to join that plant tour.

Certification News :

There has been a change to the CMI and CQT, Body of Knowledge (BOK). The following Internet links will get you to both the CMI and CQT BOK pages.

The first administration of the new BOK will be October 18, 2003. The application deadline is August 22, 2003.

Individuals who have either registered to take the October 18th exam or have taken the exam within the last two years will be emailed or mailed a copy of the new BOK along with a breakdown of the changes.
